Million Meteors in the IMO Video Meteor Database


Here are the result of the search for meteor showers based on the list of radiants from May 2012. Note that this shower list was automatically generated. The list has been manually refined and completed by checking all existing shower entries in the MDC meteor shower list with the radiants detected by us. The full list of almost 130 meteor showers is available here.

The minimum length for shower detection was activity over 5° solar longitude. Up to 15° deviation in radiant distance and 15 km/s in velocity were allowed to match a detected shower with a counterpart from the MDC working list.
