Results of the AKM Video Meteor Network - September 1999 ======================================================== Since March 1999, some video meteor cameras are regularly operated by members of the German 'Arbeitskreis Meteore'. The systems work fully autonomously with the MetRec meteor detection software. Here are the results for September 1999. On September 8-10 (observations marked with an asterisk), a special project was carried in Ketzuer. Three video cameras observing the same field of view were equipped with different filters to investigate the color index of meteors. Especially in the first part of the month the weather was quite cooperative. Still there were remarkable differences between two 600 km distant observing sites in Germany. 1.
